The Igenix IG5300 Convector Heater is a compact and versatile convector heater ideal for heating small rooms, greenhouses, caravans or animal houses. As well as this, the heater features an adjustable thermostat that has three power settings, which you can easily adjust to suit your preference, creating a silent and comfortable warmth.
The frost watch function
The frost watch function is a useful feature that sets this Igenix heater apart from other similar products. It automatically turns on when the room temperature drops below 5 degree Celsius to automatically start the heater operating- keeping the room temperature at a sensible level.
This is a freestanding heater - this means it can be placed anywhere in the room and not restricted to one position on the wall.
Plug the unit into a power socket.
Turn the thermostat dial fully in a clockwise direction to gain the maximum setting.
You turn on the heating elements by turning the heat setting dial. There are three heat settings - 1200 W / 1800 W / 3000 W
For maximum heat output the dial should be turned to the third setting.
When the desired room temperature is reached, the thermostat dial should be turned anti-clockwise slowly until the thermostat is heard to click off.
After this the heater will keep the air temperature in the room at the set temperature by switching on and off automatically.
